Office 2003 SP2
I have some data in excel that I have used to create a pivot table. I can copy the pivot table and use Paste Special in Word to create a linked object. If the data in excel changes, then the pivot table changes and the linked table in word will change. However, if the change in data in excel results in the pivot table increasing in the number of rows then this change is not reflected in Word. I can understand why this is, since I originally only copied a specific number of rows from excel before I pasted into word. The question is though, is there a way in which I can create a link between the word document and the pivot table in excel such that an increase in the number of rows in the pivot table is reflected in the word document? Thanks for your help Carl |
