In my table of content after the headings all the dots have different
spacing. How do I correct this: 1.4.3.10 Supply 5 1.5 Administrative Instructions. 5 1.5.1 Primary Point of Contact (POC). 5 |

I'm not sure what "dots" you are referring to. If you want to adjust the
spacing between the auto number and the text for TOC entries, just move the left-aligned tab stop for the corresponding TOC style(s). You can do this by dragging the tab stop on the horizontal ruler; it works since TOC styles, by default, are set to update automatically. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Jenn" wrote in message ...
