Hi Helmut,

Thanks for your suggestion on one of my earlier posts, but am not sure what
do you mean by-

there are newreaders which don't offer a rating option.

I can still see the rating link at the bottom of the screen.
Can you please let me know what exactly you mean.

there is different software for accessing the newsgroups.
The web.interface, like:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm... lang=en&cr=US
which is a drag anyway, offers an option for rating.

I'm using the quite common, I think, "forté agent",
which does not offer an option for rating.

To the best of my knowledge, the groups are scanned
by many computers running on different software
offering different options. You may find your
postings in many different communities,
which you never have posted to, or at least think so.
