You can't prevent it, but you can reverse the effect afterward. Click the
circular button between the page up and page down arrows, and choose Page as
the browse object.

When I complete searching a document using "Find" and decide I want
to page down using the arrow in the bottom right corner of the
window, I find that the arrows are blue and instead of paging down,
