[resetting the save as default option[_2_]]

somehow, when I click save as in Word, it wants to save it as a web page. Any
ideas on how I change it back so that it saves it as a word doc?

Tools\Options\ Save tab , you see save word files as: dropdown list, change
it to word document(*.doc) .

If the open document has been previously saved as a Web page, then that
would be the format selected if you used Save As. If you're getting a Web
page when saving a brand-new Blank Document, then go to the Save tab and
change the default document format.
