Hi,
I'm trying to merge a text file into a Word document and am getting the error message "Word couldn't open because it didn't contain a valid database. The text file is comma delimited. Any ideas what could be causing this? |

Before trying anything else, check Word Tools|Options|General|Confirm
conversions at open, try reconnecting to the data source and choose the "Text file" option when offered (not the OLE DB or ODBC options). -- Peter Jamieson http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk "Andrew" wrote in message ...
