Does this happen for this document only? If so, are there any comments in the
document? Word could be preserving space for the so-called comments balloons. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "eanndem" wrote: Am trying to determine a fix for colleague's Word 2002 document. Doc is portrait orientation except for properly marked and formatted landscape section. The section contains text, text boxes, and graphics--all properly formatted as to position, order, etc. The section presents accurately in Print Layout View and Print Preview, but all elements EXCEPT the text box BORDERS are distored when printed on our newer printers. It appears that text and graphics are being distorted to fit a portrait orientation, while the text box borders are in proper position on the landscaped page. I have tried everything including manual landscape print settings with scaling on or off and anchoring all elements to exact positions. The document is not set to sharing or review. Every time I try to recreate the doc with landscape section from scratch--even without the graphic elements--I get a distorted text on this section's printed page. If I PDF the section, it prints perfectly as viewed. I suspect some conflict owing to an old app and new printers. Is that a possibility? Have I missed anything? This is driving me nuts! |
