I am having a table in which I want to type one column as upper case. I want
that column to automatically switch to uppercase. how do I do it. at present I use shift or upper case keys on the laptop. I am using Word 2003. thanks. |

Select the column and press Ctrl+Shift+A (All Caps).

Format the style for that column to be uppercase.

do you want to TYPE it in uppercase or have it APPEAR in
uppercase? big difference. TYPE=caps lock key APPEAR = create a table style, define the font as all caps and apply it to the first column. -----Original Message----- I am having a table in which I want to type one column as upper case.
