I have just had to reinstall Office 2003 because Word failed me. Now, for
any Word document that I print, I get a superfluous Print Preview screen after I hit "Print" that requires another instruction to Print. How do I get rid of it? |

There is no such option or feature in Word. However, your printer driver may be set to show a preview before printing. In the Print dialog, click the Properties button next to the printer's name (which displays a dialog provided by the printer driver, not by Word itself) and look for an option or checkbox related to "preview". Turn that off. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

Thank you very much. This hasd happened befo the function turned on for
no apparent reason, and some months later turned itself off for no apparent reason. I don't know why reinstalling Office would have turned it on again... But it's off now, so thank you again.
