In a long Word 2000 document I have made several alterations. One of these
manipulations has cause a heavy dotted line to appear. This dotted line now moves as I add further typing to the document. I have tried all methods to delete the line but it simply appears in a differnet position. The line is printed and I don't want it to be on the print. |

Hi,
We can go to the Word Normal mode and click on View Footnotes and click on Footnote Separator If we get the line appearing there then delete the line I guess that should work if I am understanding it correctly On Nov 8, 8:23 pm, "Jay Freedman" wrote: Stensonman wrote: In a long Word 2000 document I have made several alterations. Since there is nothing in that article that mentions the Footnote Separator,
and since the problem you describe sounds much more like an automatic border than a footnote separator, I suggest you read the article again. -- Suzanne S.
