I am experiencing exactly the same thing. It seems to occur a network drive
but not on local drives. I have yet to find a solution. "Diana" wrote: I created a document from scratch in Word 2003, and saved it several times as I was editing it using Ctrl + S. Suddenly, without me ever closing this document, it became Read Only. I checked to make sure I did not have it open, and also to make sure that no one else on the network had it open -- both negative. Of course, I was able to do a Save As to save it with a different file name, and then delete the original, but does anyone know of a reason why this would happen? |
