Hi guys
I'm setting up and invoice in word and have managed to figure out how to do the 'sum above' formula and also work it out so it adds VAT it is set out like below... £100 £100 £100 Sub total: £300 (sum above) VAT:??? Total: £352.50 (=B6*1.175) The one thing i want it to work out for me is the VAT as a stand alone total as we need to show this between the 2 values (sub total / total) so i thought it would just be a matter of adding a subtraction formula in the cell i want it then doing a eg. C6-C4 (total - subtotal) but i can't work out to do the formula! can anyone help - much appreciated if you can!!!! thanks can't find subtraction anywheere!!! |

Your welcome.
FYI, to answer your first question. =B8-B6 would give you the subtraction syntax you require. Best of luck DeanH "ATWR" wrote: must be having a blonde moment. thanks Dean.
