Thanks Guys,
I will take what you said to the techies and see if they can sort something out. Regarding the security side, you are quite right that if the email is sent from or to an account that is not nhs.net ie ) then the email would not be secure. However the nhs.net system was set up so that emails could be sent encrypted between two nhs.net accounts so that side at least should be fine. Thanks again and happy computing! Danny "Scott Glasgow" wrote: "DannyJ" wrote in message ... Hi folks The problem I have is that the information needs to be sent via nhs.net a secure encrypted email system approved by the UK national Health Service for sending patient data. Whilst I realise that it is unlikely anyone has the answer to this in relation to nhs.net I wonder if anyone knows of a way one can send an email merge via any non Outlook program. I hope I can transfer this method to nhs.net and thereby solve my problem. Thank you for your time and help. Yours faithfully, Danny This http://support.microsoft.com/kb/211206 seems to indicate that any mail client/address system/whatever that can produce a csv list of addresses can be used by Word. If your email system can provide this, then you're OK. Ohterwise, you're probably out of luck. Scott |
