![]() Hi Jay. Yes, I had already tried that, but to no avail. I'm at my wit's end. John "Jay Freedman" wrote in message ... John wrote: Hello. In assigning a keyboard shortcut for an international character (Alt+E for á), I accidentally overrode the keyboard shortcut (Alt+E) for opening the Edit menu. Is there any way I can either undo this change or reassign Alt+E to open the Edit menu? Thank you for your assistance. Just assign a different shortcut to the á character and remove the Alt+E assignment (select it in the Current shortcuts box and click the Remove button). It will automatically go back to the default. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
