I found the bibliography function and libraries and those are absolutely
fantastic. There are 2 improvements that can be made to these: 1) I am a geology grad student and am supposed to be creating my list of sources in GSA format. I understand that every format on the planet can't be included, there NEEDS to be a system to create new formats and save them. I searched the user comments and found that unless I am a XML wizard, this is pretty much impossible with the current version. 2) I upload all my references into Citeulike.com. This is a web-based OpenSource website/program that works similar to EndNote (it was recommended to me by a librarian). There should be a way to download or import from systems such as EndNote or Citeulike into Word. I know that Citeulike will import/export in BibTex or EndNote format. If Word would import these BibTex text file, that would be fabulous and save me the hassle of retyping in all my resources. I am pretty sure that BibTex is a fairly standard format. At least it is in EbscoHost databases and Citeulike *I am about to embark on a Masters Thesis that will have pages and pages of resources. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
