The only thing i wonder about is if I can get any crazier than I am now anway.... Not that it matters at my hexadicimal age of 56. Thanks Gus "Dian D. Chapman, MVP" wrote in message .. . No! You WILL get the reinstall components lag time if both are on the same system because say you open 2003...it needs to reset the registry so that IT is the head honcho version. Then if you open 2007...it wants to be in charge so it'll reset all the registry settings to its own version. If you don't switch often, it's not all that big of a deal (although 2007 can take its sweet time doing the update!). But if you switch as often as I do...it'll make you crazy! Hope that helps (and what you meant???) Dian D. I take it that there is no lag between Office 2007 and 2003 if I run them separately, both installed on the same computer though. Gus "Dian D. Chapman, MVP" wrote in message ...
