I have a letterhead from a previous word program. When I use it in Word 7,
instead of viewing the image, it just reads imbedded image. The spacing is not correct between the words "imbedded image" and the image itself. Therefore when typing below the "imbedded image" it is difficult to tell how much of the page is used and how it will print. I can see the image when asking for a print preview, but can't change it at that point and have to go back and guess again where the typing will end up on the printed page. suggestions on how to view the imbedded image on the page as I type? -- Thanks - J |

Not sure where you will find this in 2007, but in 2003, Tools, Options, View,
check the Drawings box. This should show the images in editing views. Hope this helps DeanH "Judy" wrote: I have a letterhead from a previous word program. Try under the 2007 icon top right, then Word Options button.
This is where Microsoft indicate the similar commands to be placed. Thank you very much - that gives me the spacing (if not the actual image)
which allows me to space properly. Where did you find this information? - -- Thanks - J "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Have you tried pressing Alt+F9? -- Suzanne S. Alt+F9 toggles field display. Since you mentioned seeing EMBED, I suspected
you were seeing a field code, so Alt+F9 would toggle between display of field codes and field results. If you're just seeing an empty box, make sure that "Picture placeholders" is not checked on whatever passes for the View tab of Tools | Options in Word 2007, probably something like this: Office Button | Word Options | Advanced, "Show document content." -- Suzanne S.
