Hi Michelle,
FWIW, the keyboard shortcut from Word 2003 (Alt, T, I) will also take you to the Templates & Add-Ins dialog ![]() If you use Office Button=Word Options=Add-Ins and choose 'Manage' and then 'Disabled items' is there anything listed in that category? If you unattach the template then use File=Open to open the template in Word 2007 and then use View=Macros=View Macros are the macros from your template listed and can you enter them to Edit? If you added the macros or other customizations to one of the Word 2003 built in toolbars then the toolbar will not appear in Word 2007 in the Add-ins tab. If you create a custom toolbar in Word 2003 and place the items on it, then attach the template in Word 2007 the Add-Ins tab should show the toolbar and its individual items. ============= "Michelle" wrote in message ... I have a template with macros on a toolbar (created in 2003). To load it into 2007, you go to Word Options, AddIns, Manage, Word AddIns, Go. This gives you the screen you used to get in 2003 from Tools, Templates and AddIns. You then click on Add and browse to the template you desire. Its toolbar then shows up under ADDINS tab in 2007. I have macros on that toolbar and I click on them and get the error message. -- Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* |
