You can quick select the tables by using the Select Browse Object button (bottom right of the Word Window or Alt+Ctrl+Home) and choose tables. Press the down arrows to jump to the next table down the document. Do the necessary changes to the table properties (also check the "Automatically resize to fit contents" under Options on the Table Properties dialog is not selected), then down arrows to the next, repeat.
