WD2003. I've just been asked to fix a doc where several Word and Acrobat
files were embedded in it. They now show as just pictures of the icons. The fields behind them say { INCLUDEPICTURE "cid:image004.gif@... \* MERGEFOMATINET } where I expected them to say something like { EMBED Acro.Document}. I have just embedded a file in it just like that. What has stripped out the embedded files and left just the empty icons? |

I've found the answer to this question, but it raises another that I shall
post separately. Convert a linked file to a graphic: select it and hit Ctrl+Shift+F9 |
