My version of Word 2007 was crashing everytime I opened it, no matter if it
was an old document or a new one. I found that there is a conflict with the printers used by XP so deleting the printers solved the problem! I was able to reinstall the printers once Word started working. Just a suggestion for those having similar problems. |

Thanks for the link, but if you read the front page of that website they
specifically say that these suggestions are currently being "tested" for the 2007/08 versions. If I was working with 2000 I would have used that site as a reference. They are still valid for current versions, with the exception that
