Default Word 2007 crashing

My version of Word 2007 was crashing everytime I opened it, no matter if it
was an old document or a new one. I found that there is a conflict with the
printers used by XP so deleting the printers solved the problem! I was able
to reinstall the printers once Word started working. Just a suggestion for
those having similar problems.

Thanks for the link, but if you read the front page of that website they
specifically say that these suggestions are currently being "tested" for the
2007/08 versions. If I was working with 2000 I would have used that site as
a reference.

They are still valid for current versions, with the exception that
references to Normal.dot should be read as references to Normal.dotm.
