Hyperlink Issue in Word 2003
Have successfully created a number of hyperlinks to files elsewhere in the
document. The last one, however, extends the underline to any regular text placed after it so that anything typed in becomes part of the previous hyperlink. I have tried increasing the space after it but with no success. Advice sought |

Hyperlink Issue in Word 2003
Place a hard return after the final hyperlink. Then type some additional
text and right click on it. If it include an "Edit Hyperlink" option in the pop-up list, select that and remove the link. If it does not, then fix the formatting and then you can delete the text, but do not delete the hard return. -- Dawn Crosier Microsoft MVP "Education Lasts a Lifetime" This message is posted to a newsgroup. Hyperlink Issue in Word 2003
Much thanks for the timely reply. Before following the advice I decided to
erase and retype the original text. This worked... However, the text is in purple whereas the other hyperlink text is blue. It works the same but does the color indicated something? Please advise "Dawn Crosier, Word MVP" wrote: Place a hard return after the final hyperlink. Then type some additional text and right click on it. Hyperlink Issue in Word 2003
The purple color indicates that the link has already been clicked at least once
("visited" or "followed"). On Fri, 1 Feb 2008 09:45:01 -0800, Maurice wrote: Much thanks for the timely reply. Before following the advice I decided to erase and retype the original text.
