How are you "calling it up"? Are creating new documents based on the
template (File/New) or are you opening the template file (File/Open)? Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. I have a letter template that I retrieve from my toolbar. The date of the template is December 24, 2004. Every time I call up this template, the date changes. It worked fine for years. I left the firm, and now I'm back and the template date changes when opened. Everytime a letter is done and save, when you open it, the date is now current not the date it was sent out. I saw questions similar here but the answer I've seen is make sure you use CreateDate. On my template where the date goes, it reads: {CREATEDATE \@ "MMMM d, yyyy" \*MERGEFORMAT} So I think it has to be something else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, ll |
