Does anyone know how to copy just the text from a document and not the
formatting than paste to another document? I'm using Word 2007 and each time I select the text than copy to another document the formatting comes too. |

Instead of clicking Paste on the Home tab, in the Clipboard group (or
pressing CTRL+V), click the arrow beneath the Paste button and click Paste Special. In the Pastw Special dialog box, click Unformatted Unicode Text and click OK. The text will take on the formatting from the paragraph style or linked that was and still s applied to the paragraph containing the insertion point when you executed the commands above (by default, the Normal style). Hi Gwynn,
To add to the information Aeneas provided you can also set a default paste format in Word 2007 Options (Alt, T, I, A) and scroll to the 'Cut, copy, and paste' options section, and also turn on the 'Show Paste Options' button if it's not visible when pasting text now. ============ "Gwynn" wrote in message ...
