Thanks! The table cell works nicely. I don't know much about using tables yet
with a little fiddling plus the use of your website, I was able to make it
just like I want.

it is not easy to advise, however you may be able to put it in a borderless
text box or better still a table cell and rotate the content of the text
box/cell before merging.
