I'm answering my own question. Open the template as a document, then select
Mail/Merge, specify current document, and the page set up is preserved as specified in the template. Seems obvious now that I know how. -- al "Alvin Mast" wrote: I'm setting up several Mail/Merge templates to print directories. I do Page Setup in the template and I want Merge output document to have this setup. If I select "Directory" as Document Type and "Start from template" the merge puts out letters with a Section Break (New Page) after each record which is not good for a directory. If I start from current document, and insert the template file, then I get a directory list with all the attributes of the template except for page set up. Is there a solution or work around? -- al |
