I know this sounds like a runaround, but did you call MS and tell them you
contacted the manufacturer and they refused to help you? Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for assistance by email cannot be acknowledged. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beth Melton "Flagman" wrote in message ... I called MS and they told me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer told me to contact MS. Now what? "browndk26" wrote: I called MS and they gave me a new key. Thanks for the help. "Beth Melton" wrote: First contact the manufacturer of the computer and ask them for a new product key. If they refuse then contact Microsoft and explain the OEM refused to provide you with a new key. Note that Microsoft may charge a nominal fee (around $10US) since it isn't a retail version. To contact Microsoft call (800) 360-7561 or if outside the US see this site: http://microsoft.com/worldwide |
