Hi there
Wonder if someone could help me? I'm currently doing a mailmerge from an excel datasource. I have a column of figures displayed as percentages in excel (ie 6%) but when this data is in word as part of the merge is it displayed as 0.06. How can I get the same result in my merged documents as I do in excel? I have tried what www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm suggests but think I still must be doing something wrong. I have in my word document:- {MERGEFIELD "base" * 100\# "0%"} Many thanks. Rachel |

I think you need to read my web page more carefully! What the page says you
need is: {={Mergefield base} * 100 \# "0%"} Use CTRL + F9 for each set of brackets {} and type the rest -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Pricklyflower wrote: Hi there Wonder if someone could help me?
