I have a data base in excel 2003 and am merging to labels in word 2003. One
record is dropping off at the page break ... I'm merging 30 labels per sheet -- records 1-30 appear on the first sheet, but the second sheet starts with record 32 (31 disappears), same with every page break one label/record is missing. Anyone know why and how to fix it?? |

You probably have the Next Record fields in the wrong place, or one too
many of them. The correct place is BEFORE the first mergefield in all of the labels on the mail merge main document EXCEPT for the first label. You can get away with it being located after the last mergefield in all of the labels as long as you do NOT have one after the last mergefield in the LAST label on the sheet. Word automatically indexes to the next record at the page break. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis.
