It sounds like you have used text form fields, whereas you would probably
have been better served by ASK or Macrobutton fields http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm , or, when you get more adventurous, a User Form http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms.htm See also http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Belinda7237 wrote: I have created a letter template for the first time - and i used a site referenced on the discussion board to insert text boxes for my letter variables. i want the end user to be able to open this template and be prompted with each of these variables to enter, and then be able to print the letter. I have also used two REF items. When i open the letter I see the gray boxes, but what is needed to prompt the user to enter info in each of these boxes? |
