See the article "Creating sequentially numbered documents (such as
invoices)" at: http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/NumberDocs.htm -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug Robbins - Word MVP "MorganNews" wrote in message news ![]() I have a form designed in Mac Microsoft 2004 v 11.5 and it's to be used as a template for printing the form as needed. I'd like to set up a document sequence number that will update itself when printed by incrementing the number by one with each print. That is, the first time the document is printed, the sequence number on it would be 1, the second time, the sequence number would be 2, and so on. Is there a way to do this using field codes? |
