Default How do I copy one database to another?

Use a Directory type mail merge with the existing data source. In the
mailmerge main document, insert a one row table into the cells of which you
insert the mergefields. When you execute that merge to a new document, that
document will contain a table with one row of data for each record in the
data source. You can then insert a row at the top of the table into which
you enter names for each of the fields. You can then save that document and
use it as a mail merge data source after making any required edits.

I have created a database in Word using the merge feature in Word 2000. It
is a file of names and addresses for a wedding. I now need to use some of
the names and addresses in that database, so I want to copy the whole
database to a new one. Is that possible, or do I have to type a new list.
I
thought it would be faster to make a 2nd copy and then add or delete the
names and addresses that are not needed in the new file.
