How do a save a document in 2003 Word so that it can be printed but not
edited by recipients? |

Convert it to a .pdf although even they can be edited if the recipient

There is no way that you can prevent any document that you allow someone to
see from being copied/edited etc. You can only make it a little more difficult to do so.
