I have the same problem with Word in Office 2007 and Vista ultimate. I also
have a seemingly related problem where a file I open seems to get converted to a "tmp" file and when I go to save, it won't let me save, or if Word says I've saved the file, it actually doesn't get written out. I've found this when using a thumb drive as well as the hard drive. "KrG" wrote: Why do I get a file permission error when I save a document? I'm usigg Vista and Word 2007.
