If I put a line _____________ in a word document then try to key on that line
it takes the line out for what I am keying. Example: ______that_______________ I am trying to set up a form that people can fill in the blanks (on the lines I provide) and I don't want the document in Excel, it needs to be in Word. |

This information was helpful. I can set up a text line but I am still unable
to key on the text line without having everything to the right of the line move to the right. I just want to be able to key on the line without the rest of the document getting messed up. Take a look at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm.
I suspect, though, that if you had actually gone through Dian Chapman's articles, you would know the answer to your question.
