Default Word document

I had a completed word doc. that I noticed after the fact, was read only. I
saved it and now it is nowhere to be found. Is there any way to find this
completed document?

have you ever tried to search file where folder you save it?
or you made hidden the data.
better you search with go to start-search-type file name.
system will search and found it.

You can't save a read only document, unless you give it a new name. If you
did that recently it will be in the Word recent files list.

Was this by any chance an e-mail attachment? You should never open Word
attachments directly from e-mail - however it *may* be possible to recover
your changes. See http://www.gmayor.com/outlook_attachments.htm
