I found the selution through trial and error.

{ FORMTEXT { =A1 * A2 } \# #;-#; } and not { FORMTEXT { =A1 * A2 } \# 0;-0;
} or the IF option.

Thanks for your inputs. It has helped me to get to the selution, believe it
or not.
