Hi Martina,
The process you're describing seems correct, except that ther should not be a comma after 'FILLIN'. After creating the field, selecting and pressing F9 should generate the prompt. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Martina" wrote in message ... Hi macropod, I too am having the same problem as Jeaneb, I've tried your suggestion of Ctrl-F11 to no avail. Its been so long since i've used these prompts that i can't really remember if i'm typing the correct words - this is what i have been doing: Ctrl F9 to get the { } up. Typing: Fillin, "Date" within { } Am i using the wrong words - is this why i'm not getting the prompt boxes? Any help would be much appreciated i really miss this way of doing things. You can unlock it via Ctrl-Shift-F11. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Jeanneb" wrote in message ... In prior versions of MS Word I could click on a Fill-in Field and hit F9 and a box would pop up to enter my information in. That no longer works. Is there a different method used in Office 2007 to get that to work? |
