A workaround might be not to use "real" words as AutoCorrect entries.
-- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... This bug has been reported in previous versions; unfortunately, it has not yet been deemed important enough to be fixed. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "GregMcKay" wrote in message ... There is an error in Microsoft Word 2007's use of soft hyphenation rules. Whenever you place a soft hyphen in a word and it splits the word, and the first part of the word is contained as an entry in the AutoCorrect list, the first part of the word will be (inappropriately) expanded to match the AutoCorrect list, when that is not at all what is wanted. |
