I had a line delete problem after I cut and paste from a WordPerfect document
into a Word2007 document. It was NOT a paragraph border problem, so the solution at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...tRidOfLine.htm did NOT help me -- but try that site if the following doesn't help: ALT-F9 to toggle field codes to see the field codes in the document. Delete the field and you'll delete the line and other weird formatting. Apparently, when cutting and pasting from another program, very sophisticated, embedded codes sometimes get placed in your .doc or .docx document. SPECIFICALLY, when I put the cursor over this line, two little horizontal lines appear (with tiny up and down arrows) and I can move the line in question up and down, but that's it. Help, please!
