Someone has sent me a WP file from their daycare and has requested that I
convert it to Word 2007 but the 5.x and 6.x options are not converting the
file. This leads me to believe the file is earlier than 5.x.

You could try the old converter that you can download from my web site, or
if you want to e-mail the document to the link on the home page of my web
site, I will examine it to see if I can determine what it requires to
convert it using some other tools at my disposal.
