Someone may come along with a macro to select all the headings at once, but
you can certainly select all the headings in a given style at once. In the Find dialog, use Format | Style to select the desired style, leaving the "Find what" box empty. Then click "Find in" and choose "Main document." All your headings in the chosen style will be selected. Click on the Word title bar (or press ESC) to return focus to the document, Ctrl+C to copy the selected headings, and then paste into another document. An even better approach is to create a TOC based on the heading levels you want, unlink it, copy it, and paste into a text file (you can then delete it from the document). -- Suzanne S.
