Blank Word Doc Opens Randomly
I have a user that complains of a blank Word Doc opening randomly. I suspect
he may be accidentally keying a shortcut or something because his computer has been replaced this year and it continues to happen. Does anyone know what the keyboard shortcut for opening Word is? Thanks!! |

Blank Word Doc Opens Randomly
Ctrl+N creates a new, blank document in Word.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to LAUNCH word. Sorry if I was not clear before.

Blank Word Doc Opens Randomly
There is no default shortcut to start Word, but you can assign one.
Right-click the desktop icon for the program and choose Properties, and fill in the Shortcut Key box in the dialog.
