While you may be able to use your printer's bar code function, it should not
be necessary if you install a Code39 barcode font eg http://www.bizfonts.com/free/#Downlo...e_Barcode_Font Thereafter the task is a simple label mail merge - http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm or http://www.gmayor.com/merge_labels_with_word_2007.htm You would insert the following on the label, where Code is the name of the field in your data source that contains the code you wish to barcode. The barcode requires a stop and start digit, which in Word would be an exclamation mark thus: { IF { Mergefield Code } "" "!{ MERGEFIELD Code \*Charformat }!" } To confirm that this works, merge to a new document and you should see !yourcode!. If that works lose that document and return to the merge document. Apply the barcode font to the part - !{ MERGEFIELD Code \*Charformat }! You will now not be able to read the text. Propagate the labels to apply the change to the rest of the labels. Now complete the merge. You should get a bar code on each label. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Deep7903 wrote: My brother printer is barcode enabled.
