If the data appears in the document body anywhere, you can use a StyleRef
field to put it in the footer; see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/StyleRef.htm -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "rebecca" wrote in message ... Hi, I have created a word 2003 template with protected fields in the main page. We need people to be able to access the footer to add a name etc but when the document is protected they can't access the footers. Is there a solution or way around this? I'd really love to know either way... |
