Default selection in Print dialog not available

Had been using Work 2003 and just started using Work 2010 trial version which
seems to have removed the option of printing a selection from the print dialog

You haven't spent enough time exploring. :-)

If you go to File Print (or press Ctrl+P), the first item under the
Settings heading defaults to Print All Pages. Click that and choose
Print Selection instead.
