I can't seem to duplicate what you say but the "Layout in Table cell"
checkbox on the Picture position dialog can sometimes cause things like this to happen. -- Enjoy, Tony www.WordArticles.com "SHR1966" wrote in message ... When I use anchored objects along side Tables, the anchor "splits" or causes a break in the table, which messes up the formatting. A work-around is usually to move the anchor above or below the table, and then lock it into place. Sometimes this is not an option, usually because a table may take up all or most of the space in a page. Is there a setting, or a way, to not have anchors affect tables in this manner? thanks ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
