It's a Functional Spec document. Bookmarks need to be created for hyperlinks
to error codes, etc. Also, header/footer changes based on the module. I will look at the links you gave. What is it that you need to do with the bookmarks and header/footer that requires the form to be unprotected? Investigate userforms instead. For the basics, see Word MVP FAQ - Userforms http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms.htm for a more in depth explanation, see http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Create_and...a_UserForm.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Barbara" wrote in message ... Is there a way to put a dropdown list in a table in a template without protecting the section? Currently I have the sections with the tables protected but that is causing issues in other areas; i.e., you have to unprotect to use bookmarks and edit the header/footer. This is challenging for those who don't use Word very often. I checked Greg's page and only saw the dynamically linked dropdowns which I don't need. Thanks, -- Barbara R . |
