Default unwanted page break

Or select the entire text (Ctrl-A) and uncheck the offending

Did you investigate "Keep with Next" and "Keep Lines Together" and
even "Page Break Before" (on the second tab of Home Paragraph
Format paragraph)? They should all be unchecked.

how do I get rid of a page break or what is my problem.
