Re-numbering of existing text in long document
Hi everybody,
I am confronted with a pretty long document. I was told to arrange the numbering in the document, which I was able to do after plenty attempts and using the Bullets and Numbering box. BUT now I am not able to add any additional paragraphs in between the existing text. When I place a numbering and use the Ident buttons, it would not adjust the number according to the heading e.g. Given is: 3..... 3.1..... 3.1.1.... I am changing this to: 3..... 3.1.... 3.1.1... 3.2.... 3.2.1... 3.3.... 3.3.1... Word starts again with 1. for each new change  (((Any help appreciated... |
